Purchasing Cooperative - Links
Purchasing Cooperatives are avenues of procuring items not available via an HCISD bid. Most commonly these are a category of items which HCISD might purchase infrequently or in small quantities where preparing our own bid is more expensive then using a coop. Coops offer: guaranteed pricing, delivery, and vendors have been scrutinized by the coop administrator. They are still our last resort to our own bids, but do afford the district a favorable avenue when no other exists.
